THE first full trailer for True Blood season six has finally been released, and it promises one thing: "No one lives forever".

In the ripe new footage released by HBO, fans can get excited for the rise of the humans against the vampires, and there's plenty of blood, sexual tension and action-packed battle scenes.

"I can barely remember the last time I wasn't in danger," Sookie (Anna Paquin) says. "I want my life back."

Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), is still playing god and we get our first glimpse of the mysterious and evil vampire Warlow, yet no one knows who's playing his character yet.

There's also a couple of juicy scenes featuring Joe Manganiello and Alexander Skargard sans shirts.

True Blood Season 6 premieres in the US June 16 on HBO.
