BROOKE Shields is reportedly set to co-host popular TV talk show The View.
The 47-year-old actress is allegedly being lined up to replace Joy Behar, who is departing the ABC show at the end of this season.
The current panel also consists of Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, Barbara Walters and Elisabeth Hasselbeck - who is also reportedly set to leave.
The Lipstick Jungle star is said to have a great relationship with the women.
"She has been asked to co-host a few times. They love her and she enjoys it," a source told People. "She has co-hosted The Talk, Good Morning America, and the Today Show as well. She's a great host."
The View is seemingly set to face a few changes on its panel in the coming months.
Us Weekly reports that long-time co-host Elisabeth would not be returning for the 17th season of the show after viewers complained about her political stance.
"The viewers they polled all said she was too extreme and right wing," the source said. "People did not watch the show because of Elisabeth. So they told her, her contract would not be renewed."
The View’s producer-and-co-host Barbara said she would explain the moves on today's programme.
"All will be addressed on tomorrow's show," a spokesman said in an email to the New York Post at the weekend.
