JOE Hildebrand loves a rant on TV.
The colourful journalist identity has followed up his legendary Sky News spray in 2012 with a rant about the Greens.
"I've been at parties that lasted longer than the Greens," he said.
"They should get up, get on the next boat to Cuba, and leave the rest of us normal people alone."
Appearing as a guest on Sky's issues program PM Live, hosted by Paul Murray, Joe let loose about the state of the alternative political party, following Greens Leader Christine Milne's sensational press conference.
Ms Milne announced this week that the Greens' alliance with Julia Gillard's Labor Party was official dead over a political disagreement on the Mineral Resources Rental Tax (MRRT).
Hildebrand, who writes for The Daily Telegraph and hosts ABC program Dumb, Drunk and Racist says it was a silly move because that deal was cut before the alliance was formed.
"The Greens are lunatics, they are idiots, they are imbeciles, they are undergraduates," he said.
"The tax turned out to be a complete turkey, which everyone knew it would be except the Greens."
"Liberal democracy is a China shop. It's delicate. And the Greens are a giant, steaming bull running through it like mad little undergraduate children waving flags and preaching revolution."
